In Real Estate Academy

Zillow, Trulia, Realtor.com, Instagram, Facebook. The photos of your listing are probably going to be on all these sites, and many more. Buyers are going to click, swipe and tap their way through the photos of your home. They’ll see them on screens big and small, from their phone to their desktop (maybe even their TV!). If you haven’t invested in professional, high definition photography, the truth is that you’ve probably just scared some buyers away from your listing.

The internet has been the number one way that buyers search for homes for some years now. As a content delivery system, it is second to none. The first time a buyer comes across your home online is their first showing. If you can’t impress them with your property photos, then your chances of getting a second, in-person showing are slim to none. The opportunity cost of bad photos is too high to take chances. As you interview agents, make sure that professional photos are a non-negotiable part of their listing services.
